Bullying
Bullying in all of it’s hideous forms is as old as time, with one individual seeking power over another, usually by intimidating, or even violent means.
Definition: “the behaviour of a person who hurts or frightens someone smaller or less powerful, often forcing that person to do something they do not want to do.” (Definition of bullying from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary & Thesaurus © Cambridge University Press)
Fact:
One third of the globe's youth is bullied; this ranges from as low as 7% in Tajikistan to 74% in Samoa (https://www.stopbullying.gov/resources/fact)
There are a number of fantastic worldwide charities and organisations that are dedicated to eradicate bullying from society, but sadly, they are drastically underfunded.
That’s why we came up with the idea to help these organisations and our mission is simple:
“To help create a safer and more inclusive online and physical community where everyone can feel safe, valued, included and empowered.”
